About These pages

My name is Chris Black. I work at a company call AMS or AMSPerformance or Automotosports. We do some BADASS high tech stuff over there. These pages have little to do with that, and none of these projects will even attempt to come close to the quality of workmanship and engineering power that comes out of those doors. What these projects WILL be is a excellent use of my spare time as a hobby. This is more of a shrine to my current car, and my past project cars.
At AMS, I handle all of the engine calibration work and alot of the vehicle diagnostics. Chances are, if you have brought your car to AMS and had it tuned, I have been behind it. I am currently versed in almost every available engine management system that is available on the market today. I have been tuning cars for everything from dedicated competition use, to daily driven street cars. The wide range of systems and motors that I have tuned has helped to shape my understanding of the internal combustion engine and what it needs to operate well, and do so for a long period of time under almost any conditions.
Having built several engine management systems and wiring harnesses from the ground up, I’m out for a new challenge now. I haven’t decided what that is going to be yet really, but I have a few things in mind…
